We’re delighted to welcome Arshad Awan to our Manchester team in a dual role of internal sales and operations.
With a diverse background that spans several industries, Arshad brings a wealth of experience to the team, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.
Arshad began his career after earning a degree in Commerce from the University of Karachi. He gained valuable experience working with renowned shipping companies, including Cho Yang, Senator Line, and Hapag Lloyd.
After a brief time in the USA, Arshad returned to Pakistan and pursued his passion for sports by becoming a sports presenter for Indus TV, where he covered various events, including his favourite sport, cricket.
After a few years, Arshad relocated to the UK and became a morning show host for DM Digital. He eventually returned to his roots in the shipping industry, spending eight years at a general forwarder near Manchester Airport, handling sales and import/export operations.
Arshad’s diverse career journey and expertise in both sales and operations make him a valuable addition to our Manchester team.
