Seems like yesterday I put pen to paper, so to speak, writing about hitting the midpoint of the year. Now, here I am, having just ventured on from the first day of autumn and the first discussions taking place about Christmas!
The pace of life these days just knows no bounds; it is truly relentless. With this in mind, I say relentless as a positive. From a business point of view, our current numbers thus far show solid revenue growth compared with the same period in 2023.
So, as much as we cannot allow ourselves to become complacent as we enter historically the busiest part of the year, sometimes it is good to sit back for a short while and reflect on the effort and dedication shown by all members of the AWL family throughout the UK. As much as our established offices continue to attract new clientele and increase shipment count, our new offices in Exeter and Southampton continue to flourish and grow month on month. It bodes well for a very positive end to the year for all.

You may or may not be aware a new UK government entered the frame back in July, ending 14 years of the previous administration. One of their first major announcements was to host a major international investment summit mid-October, which whatever your politics, I believe is a very positive move. This summit is designed to bring together up to 300 industry leaders to catalyse investment in the UK, advancing opportunities and growth across the country.
