Three brave members of the AWL team – Zoe Holding from Sales, Daniel Nascimento from the Automotive division, and Tina Taylor from Accounts – took on the ultimate test of courage to support our chosen charity, White Lodge.
The challenge? A 20-foot barefoot walk across 800-degree hot coals. This wasn’t a magic trick - just pure determination and mind over matter.
After an inspiring pre-walk training session, our firewalkers stepped up to the heat, with the AWL team cheering them on from the sidelines.
In the end, it wasn’t just about the walk – it was about the incredible effort and spirit behind it.
Each brave walker received a certificate of achievement and a complimentary burger or hot dog from the BBQ. Although nobody chanced the BBQ afterwards, just in case the same coals were used.
Thanks to the collective effort of our team, AWL raised a fantastic £590 for White Lodge, our chosen charity. A huge congratulations to our firewalkers for their amazing contribution – you’ve set the bar high for next year!
