A Busy Month for the Glasgow Team

It’s been an exciting month for our Glasgow team, who have successfully coordinated three impressive shipments to destinations across the globe. These moves demonstrate their expertise in handling complex logistics for a variety of industries.

Here’s a closer look at what they’ve achieved:

1. Out-of-Gauge Airfreight to Japan

Our team managed a challenging airfreight shipment for the energy sector, transporting a sizable blade to Japan (shown above). To ensure safe handling, the blade was professionally packed on-site before being shipped door-to-door.

  • Dimensions: 790 x 234 x 140 cm

  • Weight: 4,500 kg

This shipment highlights our team’s ability to handle oversized cargo with precision and care, ensuring it reaches its destination in perfect condition.

2. Hydraulic Machine to Singapore

For a client in the oil and gas sector, the Glasgow team oversaw the transportation of a large hydraulic machine to Singapore. The shipment required careful coordination of specialized containers:

  • 2 x SOC (Shipper’s Own Containers)

  • 1 x 40ft open-top container

This complex move underscores our team’s skill in managing logistics for large-scale industrial equipment.

3. Grinding Machine to Mongolia

The Glasgow team also facilitated the successful transport of a grinding machine and accessories to Mongolia. The shipment involved three containers:

  • 2 x 40ft open-top, out-of-gauge containers

  • 1 x 40ft flat rack for the accessories

This project demonstrates their adaptability in coordinating diverse cargo types and ensuring smooth delivery to even the most remote destinations.

Congratulations to our Glasgow team for their exceptional work this month! These projects highlight their dedication to delivering tailored, reliable logistics solutions for clients worldwide.
